i coded a qw mod that generates .loc files for maps
basic ones of course, but it's fully automated so you cant expect much

it was extremely buggy and i cant seem to find it, maybe it's worth recod ...

can't be done.... those things are server side, and must be in the progs.dat/qwprogs.dat file.

one thing i'm going to add from q3 though, is the environment mapping and outer model glows that you c ...

i dont think it could be something in my config.. because playback works in mqw (0.96, not 0.95)

mvd's appear to be crashing under windows2000 no matter what.

this also happened with the older mqw mvd support, although they somehow fixed it in the latest build, not sure how.
