you probably misconfigured your mousetype in /etc/svgalib/libvga.config. please specify your mouse and how is connected to your computer. do other svga problems behave propperly?

always remember:

LCD refresh rate on digital input = 60hz.
they look more sharp and crisp than a CRT (for what i can compare).
the colours look extremly good an LCD (at least the newer models).

are you using kernel oss sound drivers? try alsa sound drivers instead. or the other way round.

giving us information on used hardware would help us a lot. also what doesglxinfo | grep direct return?

opengl-update xfree
and recompile. when running the executable be sure to do a opengl-update nvidia again. (this is if you are using nvidia gfx card)
