spectator mode in "singleplayer"

when I do spectator 1 and then map dm2, I join as a regular player

when I do spectator 1 and join a server, and then do a map dm2, I join as spectator

if I then do spectator 0 and then map dm2, I join as a spectator

I have to join a server as spectator 0 to remove the spectator mode

maybe you have spectator 1 set in your config. i had similar problems one night. while spectating i used cfg_save and it saved the spectaror setting.. took me about half an hour to figure it out.

and when I already am a spectator

does not work...

Try "observe" (join as a spec) & "join" (join as a player) instead of spectate 1/0
