I decided to run gl quake (fuhquake-gl.exe) the other day and realized that if you alt tab a few times I was able to see through walls and have a competitive advantage over my opponents. I never really enjoyed gl because for some reason I can never shaft with it but now that I can see the opponent approaching from behind various walls I can use this to my advantage. f_modified doesnt detect this so its something that you can get away with. I'm not sure if this bug is specific to me but if you see me running GL watch out LOL.

Can you take some screenshots please? I can't duplicate this and I am intrigued.

I'll get right on that! Smile but right now I'm stuck at work. Anything to help a fellow qw'er out. Btw it might be related to my graphics card Radeon 9300.. who knows ;P

Ok. The strangest thing happend when I tried to take a screen shot! The see through fullbright would not appear. I'm not talking about the normal see though fullbright where the user has to be right up against the other side of the wall.. i can see though thick thick thick walls. Its not a table see though shot.. its a flickering kinda like when you used to be in water in gl and look up from water and see a flickering enemy above though the floor. It's like that for me but though everywall. I can litterally do a 360 in one position in the map and find the flickering enemy somewhere on the map even if behind 3 walls. All the projectors appear but its like a strobe light effect where I can see though them in very quick flashes. I'm sorry I couldnt get any screen shots of it, but I took 12 in a row.. yet none of them seem to appear.. maybe i need to do a windows ctrl+printscreen.. somehow i doubt that will work LOL.

steek, same thing happened for me. It was a driver issue. Print screen and screenshot wont show anything. Its unplayable imo but could be adjusted to i suppose. its like a flickering of white lines through half the screen ? :> update or change drivers and see if its the same!

btw, its prolly best to msg the author first before publicly announcing it =p
