I tested it with MS Intellimouse Optical and also Explorer with IntelliDrivers v4.1 and 3.x with NT4 and W2k.
But always only when connected via USB and never with Win98
Is the described behaviour specific to mouse buttons 4 and 5?
Or does it also happen if you bind it to e.g. mouse button 2? |

my mouse4/5 (even tho i have to call em kp_pgup/dn damn genius mices)
seem to act strange too... they never seem to work properly with +/- commands/alises but normal commands will work still. Also in Q3 +fire 7 (turns to lg and shoots it) only turns to the lg and not fire it, it could be your mouse i dunno exactly... |

in ie mouse control panel
top to bottom
(Nepra): click, right-click, autoscroll, shift , keystroke (m)
could you try that
and play using mouse1/2 and i whatever the shift corresponds to (mouse4 i think).
someone complains of blue screen crashes when that happens. |

Nothing special happens here.
Just what I expected: the mouse buttons 4 and 5 work as if they were the corresponding keys.
So if I do
bind shift "say hello"
bind m "say again"
and then press mouse4 it will say "hello",
if I press mouse5 it will say "again"

I hope Goljat's mouse problems have been fixed and have no side effects to other users...
I opened a new thread for my new FuhQuake version, based on v0.30!
Look there for other things...
Fuh, could you please make this thread here "unsticky"?
(and maybe the other one "sticky - if you want ) |
