I was watching a demo and I had to rewind it, so I disconnected, watched it again, and typed
demo_jump 8:10
it jumped to 3:10. I'm like wtf? After looking at the last line, someone had unpaused the game (my clan pauses during practice to talk with offense or defense).
Is this a bug or a feature? silly feature if it is imo. I had to type demo_jump 8:10 3 times because we paused i think twice during the 8 mins of play.

this would be a server mvd recording problem/limitation i think. But i wait to see what fuh says, as i too have found funny things happening with demoing and pauses. |

it's not a bug nor a feature. just the way it is. I don't like it, but I'm not going to change it either. use something besides pause. ceasefire if thats available. |

we like to use pause because we can diagnose what is going on without messing up where every player is etc. Cease lets people wander around and then we'd probably have to all /kill to restart... But i don't see it as too much of a prob, just a minor annoyance. |
