colourshift (pickup/underwater/quad/pent etc.) effects whole screen, rather than just the window. This doesn't happen in glxquake or zqwcl-glx

that's because FuhQuake uses hardware gamma by default to adjust the palette (so it affects the whole screen). So it affects the whole screen for gamma and powerup etc blends. use vid_hwgammacontrol 0 to disable all of it or gl_hwblend 0 just for blends. It's the same as quakeforge, except quageforge is smart enough to restore the gamma etc when you alt tab, lose focus, minimise etc. Feel free to add this for me Smile
