|

When playing team games about 90% of the time I drop with a second to go. The console comes down and the last message is 1 second remaining. I can reconnect and I will get straight back in.
Anyone know why this happens or how to fix it? |

Here is a demo,
http://opax.swin.edu.au/~183334/dead.qwd
Since installing ver .31 I can now move around for a bit when it has disconnected, then my movement freezes. This happens in about 80% of team games (2on2 and up). It has never happened in duels or any other form of quake.
Any Ideas? |

I have seen this. It happens because the client doesn't receive svc_intermission from the server when when the map ends. This is the signal for 'maps ended, start drawing final scoreboard etc'.
The demo indicates the server never sent the msg to you, which means the mod or server is to blame.
This has happened to others before. I told rxr of ktpro about it and eh said 'i think i know what it is' but i havent seen him fix it in any changelogs. i'll bring it up again with him. |

ipgn teams was recently updated to a new mvd and ktpro version. It may be fixed now, as the old version was 1.53 |
