The FuhQuake v0.27 installer is finally available. This version of the installer contains brand new textures for dm2, dm4 and dm6 and is recommended to all eyecandy lovers.
You should check out what the new textures look like by heading over to the screenshots page.
If you have never downloaded a FuhQuake installer or have downloaded an installer only for a very old version of FuhQuake (v0.24 and below) then you should download the v0.27 installer without hesitation.
What's New
- The latest episode 1 textures from the QE1 team. This includes updated e1m2 textures.
- Vastly improved dm4 and dm6 textures put together by gnorfy, def and yogic.
- Brand new dm2 textures put together by newtov.
- First time inclusion of special luma textures to render fullbrights on local servers (and remote ones where permitted).
- No more ugly lava/water textures.

| If you have already installed the v0.26 installer and installed new hud graphics (textures/wad/*.png) over the top then make sure you do untick the hud graphics boxes when installing the v0.27 installer so you can preserve your hud graphics. |

I noticed that the luma files for some of the bmodels are wrong. The health boxes are supposed to have blinking crosses on the sides and a blinking red line and cross on top.
However, the exact same textures, both color and luma are used for +0 and +1 versions of the textures.
The mega health is done correctly. Just the smaller healths need to be fixed. |

And, if you are a newbie and want to play proper quakeworld (team deathmatch) you might need some locfiles...
Heh, not just newbies, this message goes to everyone :E
Here are locfiles for ALL built-in maps in quake + lots of custom ones. They are all made with great perfection, they are all very accurate.
