well here is a quality test for my upcoming movie, that is currently under way im not sure if its good enough or not?

i was hoping you guys would tell me if the quality of this sample/test is up to par with other quake videos, along with the audio, i through in a song in the BG @ 160kbps compression

the divx codec i used is DivX 5.1.1 Pro, (4 pass)

www.divx.com - Beware of ad-aware!

i dont have any type of hosting, so the file is split into Sixteen-1.8mb rar files on some freebie server.

you will need winrar or winace to extract this movie
www.winrar.com

End size = 29.2Mb
Lenght = 1:17

The quality looks fine. However, you should try sync the audio with the frags.

Btw, how does the Xvid codec do compared to Divx ?

http://www.roeder.goe.net/~koepi/xvid.shtml

The Xvid encoder lets you to change the capturing codec (for me it provided both XVID and DIVX), I used DIVX and I believe it's better than its own XVID codec.

Sorry for the late replying, I totally forgot about this thread :/
