Save the version number with which the config was written in the header comment.

Dont mind the layout.

I would also like the config to save your server settings.

e.g. i always have to write "teamplay 2" and "floodprot 10 1 1" manually in the config after i've used "cfg_save"

the reason for using those 2 commands, are that whenever i want to try locs/messages, simple stuff etc. I just start up fuhquake and type "map dm3" Smile it's really good! and it's even better that it ain't ktpro sometimes, e.g. when trying teamplay messages.

Oh, and why not display the date the config was last saved too in the config?
