i spoke to you about this on irc but if u change gamedir to for example fortress the conback remains set to the one found in fuhquake/gfx/conback.png

personally i'd rather it only used that file if the gamedir == qw

for any other gamedir, if it doesn't find a 24bit conback.png in %gamedir%/gfx then i'd rather it tried to then load the conback.lmp in that gamedir (and only if that also isn't found does it stick with fuhquake/gfx/conback)

good idea, however id rather fuhquake's png conback over an 8bit one...

personally i'd rather have hipnotics lmp displayed in the background than the fuhquake one
