Seems like a good idea since more and more desktop users are making the move to Linux and it's generally quite a bit more difficult to setup than the Windows version.

Fair enough, but it would be much better if a new section were to be created here on the FuhQuake forums.

I'd prefer a complete phpbb forum ONLY for linux quake

that is fuhquake/mqwcl/qwcl, whatever

and everything that concerns this, this might range from how to compile a good gaming kernel to that a new pak explorer for linux has been released

a forum for general chat, a forum for guides, a forum for questions and answers, etc

I have always thought that 1 single forum is very limited

Oh so you're talking about me =D
Thing is I just started the forum as I'm a linux geek and as I am working on a kernel which I hope all quakeworld interested linux gamers can start to contribute to. It seemed like a good place to have it on, as I am going to host patches to the kernel etc there.
