I'm currently falling back to software mode (by using the 3dhq drivers for my card) until I can pick up a new 3d card. So anything regarding GL won't be answered by me. :(

Elanzer was right - Glide support sucks, and I figured I can live without GL for the other app I use.

also, seriously...

3dfx died a long time ago. You can pick up a cheap radeon or nvidia card anywhere. This is a non-issue. Maybe you have a friend that has a spare card laying around, if not they can be found for ~$30 - $60 on www.pricewatch.com . I know not everyone has money to burn, but this is like dinner and a movie.
