fuhquake-gl.exe -mem 64 -zone 1024 -width 1024 -height 768 -bpp 32 +set vid_displayfrequency 85 +set s_khz 44 -primarysound -dinput -m_smooth +set cl_confirmquit 0 -cheats
that's my .ini file from fqstarter right now, and I just noticed something small but whatever... when you have -width 1024 you don't need -height.

how about adding some sutff to change maxplayers, startmap and others
for the dedicted part
or did i miss a post about this

you always need -width and -height
for example when used only -width 640 sometimes you got 640x480 and sometimes 640x400 (depending of OS, vga drivers etc)

i think much better to put these commands to server.cfg or "other stuff" field of FQStart, coz all these settings can be easily changed by client (2on2, dm4 etc) and anyway fuhquake dedicated server now not so usable as mvdsv

-new version format for fuhquake compatibility - 2.fuhquake version.fuhquake build
-added -nomp3volumectrl support (-simsound removed)
-added -forceTextureReload support
-added -conbufsize <size> support
-added dependencies between -dinput and -noforcem*
- -condebug moved to User settings |

no you dont "always" need -height i dont use it
i only use -width 1024 and i dont have any other res on that range just 1024x768 |

If I remember correctly, there are some clients that will set the height to its default when only -width is specified in windowed mode. hence a -width of 800 will still have the -height of 480 :/
I put height in my config just to be safe, if I wanted a screwed up fov I'll force an incorrect aspect :P
