you mean it happens in both zquake-gl and fuhquake-gl? cause i've been having the same problem lately and its starting to piss me off...was thinking maybe it was a virus or i need a defrag but i have a good amount of diskspace left and no programs running so wtf.
basically, my computer randomly sits there skipping (not a ping or pl issue) and it always fucks up my hop and happens at horrible times

That can probably be fixed with sys_yieldcpu "1".

sys_highpriority 0/-1 (minus)
Try disable index service if you are running XP. |
