are you sure you have xmms installed?

locate libxmms.so.1

it needs to exist

when you go to menu_mp3 maybe it says it can't find it?

it can't find libxmms.so so it thinks xmms isnt installed. hence it doesnt bother with adding mp3_ commands.

make sure libxmms.so is in a standard dir. eg /usr/local/lib or /usr/lib and run ldconfig if you need to copy it.

mm well fuhquake doesnt touch libxmms.so directly. ld touches it on fuhquake's behalf. so whatever ld needs. 755 would be a good start.
