Sometimes when I quit fuhquake, my gamma settings for winxp aren't restored and my desktop is very bright. I can never make it go back to normal unless I restart my computer.
I tried vid_hwgammacontrol 0, but then I can't adjust brightness/gamma in game.
gl_gamma
gl_contrast
gamma
none of those 3 commands work when i have vid_hwgammacontrol 0. I'm in GL.
Can anyone help me?

i have also experienced this problem....once or twice with fuhquake - but i also experienced it with diablo2, and quake3....the way i fixed it was i reloaded the game, and then quit again, and that would fix it for me...i use a gf3 ti 200....

I tried loading/reloading fuhquake, but it didn't work.
fuh, any way you can fix this? maybe save gamma/brightness/etc levels to a .cfg so if need be I can look at those values before and try to fix them manually??? it's really annoying !!
