To anyone out there who knows how to make models, I am requesting that you please make a g_rock.mdl using this model.

I believe this is all you need to make a g model, the v model and skin right? Anyway, this is in oldman's model pack. This particular model was done by fecius. |

Fecius didnt make this model, he ported it from Neogen's md3's. He didnt even animate anything because Neogens all port with the animations. So all in all he might have taken an hour to port all of neogens work. I had all those models ported the day neogen uploaded them.
This model has problems like that vlight to glight because its made as a vmodel and you dont need the mesh thats out of view.
If you like the old style gren launcher why dont you get photoshop or psp and retexture the original g_rock skin, with a nice skin the model could look ok. Like that single shotty...I think that model looks like a joke, but lots of people like it.

Thanks for the model.
Connor, I'm look for replacements for all models. So far I have one for each weapon except the grenade launcher. Could you tell me if you have a matching g and v GL model with 24 bit skins? I'm looking for the one that looks best.
And as far as making a skin goes, I suck at doing stuff like that |

I have a few...I used to use the q3f one but not anymore. Right now I use a centered q3 grenade launcher and a q3 g_rock. I think the q3 one looks way better than the q1 model. I've done a few versions of the model and I'll be uploading a new q3 v/g_rock soon with a skin at 512x512. But I'm going to need another comcast account soon because its almost full.

Is this the one you're talking about?
It's a decent model and centered which is good. But there are two problems. Firstly, in the ID models pak where I got this there was no g_rock.mdl, and secondly the above picture is without the 24bit skin. With the skin, it looks like this:
But if you're making a whole new one, I will just replace this one so it won't matter. And geez man, you're not thanked enough for doing all of this for everyone. 25 megs of stuff is alot to do on your own. So thanks. |

Sometimes I forget to flip the skin so it comes out like that... Anyway I'll do the g/v_rock tomorrow if I get some time.

Awesome work man, but is there a 24bit skin for the g model? The zip only comes with one for the v model. |

Cool man, good job. I'm using this one for deathmatch and the other for TF. Could you do me one more quick favor and put up the grenade model with skin that was found in your models pak? If hosting is a problem I'd be happy to do it for you, infact I have room for the whole models pack. |

Ok I did a pak of the grenade model and the grenade2 for fortress...I did this model for the q3toqw team but it had problems. This new version has smoke trails, and some redone skins that are all 512x512. So I put up it on my comcast account , why dont you download it, then upload it to yours and post a link:)
