What is this and how do I fix it? It happens when I try to load certain modified .mdl files (in paks) from Connor. Is there a way to bypass it, or correct this? At least understanding what it means would help, many people have this error. |

the 8bit texture in the .mdl is too big for glquake (and fuhquake). 640 * 480 is the limit (and its not changing). Connor probably intends a 24bit skin to be used, which can have size up to 4096*4096 . |

There is an 8bit texture in the .mdl for a 24bit skin? He seems to be able to make it run, and some others who haven't really complained (or just aren't using them). |
